Dan Grattan
Owner of premier flooring center
Dan grew up locally and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1984 shortly after he entered the flooring business. He first worked as a carpet installer’s helper learning all phases of the installation process. From there he entered the showroom and began selling these products to customers. In 1992 he opened Premier Flooring Center and has built it to what it is today. Dan and his wife Julie run the business together and enjoy living in such a great community. They are very thankful to all their loyal customers and contractors that have helped the success of their business over the years.
Juile Grattan
Owner of premier flooring center
Julie is a Nevada County native and has been involved with Premier Flooring Center since its inception. She oversees the accounting & administrative duties, and she enjoys supporting the team at Premier.
Lorin Fowler
Manager
Lorin has been in the construction and remodeling industry since before he graduated from high school. He has been creating and designing flooring combinations at Premier Flooring Center since 2001. Lorin’s outgoing approach to sales help customers come up with ideas and designs to make their projects better than they expected. He enjoys seeing customers from past years that continue to this day to enjoy their flooring he helped them pick out.
Denise wilson
Sales/ Design consultant
Denise is an accomplished designer with nearly 20 years' experience in the field, including seven years in the fast-paced construction industry. She has a strong sense of color and loves to focus on the “big picture” anticipating other aspects of interiors that might be affected by flooring choices. Denise is also very patient with the process of choosing interior finishes, realizing that everyone’s pace with decision-making is different and that flooring choices are a long-term commitment often requiring thoughtful deliberation.
Cindy Pulkinghorn
Sales associate
Cindy is originally from Southern California and moved to Grass Valley in October of 2000. She has 38 years of customer service and sales experience. She has been part of the Premier Flooring Center team for the past 15 years with a great eye for color and style. She looks forward to assisting you with your next flooring project.
Diana Knutson
Sales/design consultant
A certified Professional Interior Designer with over 30 years experience in all aspects of design and project management. Diana's expertise and personalized attention will help guide you in making your selections.
Wayne Thompson
Estimating & Sales
Wayne started in the flooring industry in 1974 as an installer/contractor. He worked in both residential and commercial, in 2001 he transitioned into estimating sales and management with 47 years’ experience. He has a vast knowledge of all aspects of flooring installation and flooring products.
Réna Bernal
Tile Sales Consultant
Réna is the newest Tile Sales Consultant to the team here at Premier Flooring Center. She has over 20 years of customer service and has an eye for color and textures. Come in and let her help you select the right product for the job, no project is too big or too small.
Tana Grattan
Tile Sales Consultant
Tana was born and raised in Grass Valley, CA. Her father, Dan Grattan has owned Premier Flooring Center most of her life, so she grew up in the carpet and tile world. She is used to working in the cosmetic industry and helping people pick the right shades and colors and believes that has helped give her an eye for what goes well together. She loves working with different patterns and colors and helping people make their homes look beautiful.
Michael McFall
Tile & Warehouse Assistant
Michael has assisted customers and contractors with all their tile and warehouse needs over the last two years at Premier Flooring Center. He is a college student who has grown up in Nevada County graduating from NU. He is here to help you with all your tile and warehouse needs.
Sage Vogt
Flooring Warehouse
Sage has been with Premier Flooring Center for the last 6 years helping everyone with their warehouse needs at our 2nd warehouse location which includes carpet recycling and helping customers pick up flooring items. He is here to help you with all your needs.
