Extended benefits from waterproof flooring

Extended benefits from waterproof flooring

Imagine being away from home for weeks without worrying about coming home to leaks or floods. And envision a product that's both highly functional and stylish.

Well, it?s all possible with waterproof flooring.

Having it all with waterproof floors

This highly stylish flooring offers the highest level of moisture protection. Waterproof vinyl flooring is a version of luxury vinyl (LVF) engineered to be thicker and more durable than traditional LVF?with the same high-end style.

Nature-inspired, true-to-life images of wood, stone, and tile include embossing and micro beveling to add depth, dimension, and textured looks. In addition, the material is cut into planks for hardwood floorboard echoes.

Waterproof vinyl flooring can be cut into square, tile-sized pieces for stone and tile looks. Many tell us the extra seams add even more to the realism.

Some products to check out in our showroom include Timeless Structure- Trail (a wood look) by Congoleum or Tile Options (a stone look) by Pergo Extreme.

WPC vs. SPC?

Waterproof flooring
has a WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite) core. Technologically advanced, these cores will never peel or ripple.

It doesn?t matter how much water there is or for how long it?s been there. Both offer the same high level of moisture protection.

They feel different underfoot, however. WPC is flexible and resilient, while SPC is solid and rigid, like a hard surface.

Water-resistant flooring vs. waterproof

Waterproof means completely impenetrable. It's made of water-tight materials, so the capability is inherent; there's no need for special coatings.

When a product is resistant to water, it will repel for a short time. Then, unless wiped immediately, it will break through, soak and stain.
